Solution 3: Restart your modem and Wi-Fi router If you can’t connect on another device either, it might be a problem with your Wi-Fi router or modem. If you can connect to your Wi-Fi network, there might be a problem with your Surface. Try to connect to your Wi-Fi network on another device, such as your mobile phone or tablet. If you don’t see your Wi-Fi network listed in the available networks on your Surface, you should first make sure your network is available and working properly.
